$2 Trillion Emergency Corona Funding Package Includes Billions for VA, Military

According to USASpending.gov, the US government spent $4.45 trillion on the budget. Although I’m glad to see the government is doing everything it can to stimulate the economy, especially more spending for Veterans Affairs and the military, I’m concerned that this spending bill will actually make things worse and put the US into deeper debt.

In the long run, I worry that this will actually hurt Americans. It’s important that we do everything we can to take care of our military and my fellow veterans. At the same time, it may be necessary for all Americans to make sacrifices if we are to get through this Coronavirus crisis.

Hopefully this crisis will be over soon, and we can all get back to work.
